Teachers

Teachers can access country fact sheets and short essays on Latin America written by MSU faculty. These, along with accompanying links and suggestions for additional materials, will help to quickly identify topics and materials that can be incorporate into lessons. We also provide a few sample lesson plans and links to web sites that provide Latin American and Caribbean related lesson plans. Teachers may use these lesson plans as they are, or simply select particular activities from them. We also provide a list of CLACS teaching materials we own, which can be checked out to use in the classroom. Finally, on this web site teachers can access images and maps and other materials that can be projected or printed out for classroom use. This site is produced by the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS), a part of International Studies and Programs at Michigan State University.
