Venezuela

Venezuela is the sole inheritor of the great Liberator Simon Bolivar, s legacy. This is best exemplified by Venezuela, s active and dynamic foreign policy. Examples can be found in the wide held belief in Caracas that Venezuela must take the lead in creating a united and self-determining Latin America, in Venezuela, s active role in the Central American peace initiatives of the 1980s, and finally using Venezuelan largesse as a source of revenue for the microstates of the Caribbean. Venezuela, s economy has been fueled by oil, mining and industry, but has not been free from characteristic economic slowdowns and autocratic rule that are seen throughout the region. The current instability of the Chavez regime has led to growing unease in domestic and international financial circles. Amidst the current crisis, the future is bright under stable leadership.
