Brazil
Brazil is Latin America, s biggest country and economy. In addition, Brazil, s rainforest is the largest in the world and two of the most populous cities in the world (Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro) are found in Brazil, s southeast region. Despite Brazil, s economic prowess and potential, a large gap in wealth distribution continues to hinder any development and is the source of continuing dissatisfaction and conflict among Brazilians. This dissatisfaction swept Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Brazil, s first leftist president in nearly forty years, into office on his third try with promises and hope of a better future for Brazil, s large working class and underprivileged masses.
